Sharnelle’s background in the development and building industry is impressive; she co-owned a local company that specialised in customised builds on sloping and level blocks. This experience gives her valuable insights into land development and house-and-land packages. She has created a specialised process that empowers her clients to achieve high-value sales, utilising her advanced negotiation and marketing skills. 

 

Together with Kylie, her daughter, who also has 20 years of experience in real estate sales. Kylie has extensive real estate marketing experience with News Corp for a few years, during a break from sales with Sharnelle. Her experience is an absolutely significant change for their clients. Combined, Sharnelle and Kylie are a powerhouse of negotiation skills, experience in marketing, preparing properties for the market, and, most of all, they have an impressive number of clients who are repeat clients and referral clients. That says a lot about their honesty and business ethics.

Proudly working alongside Sharnelle James as a Mother/Daughter selling duo at Elders Shailer Park, Kylie blends local knowledge, community connection and a down-to-earth style that makes the entire process feel effortless. Her focus is simple: to make every client feel seen, supported and confident from the first meeting to the final handshake.

Kylie's own experience with renovating properties personally with her husband, as well as building new homes like many others in their age group. She understands the family's work-life financial balance through the process of interest rates, building and renovation costs changing continuously. Experience is everything.

How it happened

Sharnelle became a Real Estate Agent in 2002, and Kylie followed closely in 2004. Together, they created their future team to become an award-winning 'Sharnelle James Properties', a mother-daughter team. 

Their story: Sharnelle became a fully licensed real estate agent 24 years ago after being heavily involved in a family building company, Sharnelle Homes, which very a respected local builder and specialising in building individually designed homes. Sharnelle was sourced by another great real estate agency to start her career as she had the passion and knowledge of the local area and surrounding suburbs. They believed in her. After Sharnelle started,18 months later, Kylie started fresh out of high school to become a personal assistant to Sharnelle. Kylie then studied and became a fully licensed sales agent with REIQ and focused on being the buyer manager of the team. Today, both Sharnelle and Kylie share equal roles in looking after all of their sellers and all of their buyers... They believe it's the power of two that has helped in so many successful sales over the years.
